I wish I'd had a little more time to work on this one. There ended up being a lot of stuff I'd have like to touch up, but it was just another crazy week, with my job transition and all. Overall, though, considering I worked on this in snatches of like 10 to 30 minutes here and there, for the most part, it turned out okay. Naomi has been far and away the most popular character in the comic, presumably because she speaks to the busty, disaffected goth girl in all of us.
She's fun to write, and she's fun to draw, so it's hard to not make her a total Mary-Sue, portrayed as completely faultless and awesome. I feel like people are getting a little too comfortable with her, so a strip like this where she is kind of nasty and messed up is important to have now and then. She absolutely enjoys getting in Curt's head and screwing with him, and she absolutely takes advantage of his issues.
